To ensure a safe, fair, and professional gaming experience, the following house rules apply. By participating in games in the poker room, you accept these rules.
General rules
The casino and poker room management reserve the right to make final decisions in all matters of dispute.
Management decisions are final and take precedence over all other rules.
Staff instructions must always be followed.
Mobile phones and electronic devices may not be used at the table during a hand.
Management reserves the right to remove any guest who does not display appropriate behavior or respect towards other guests and staff.
Table Etiquette
Players must show respect for both dealers and fellow players.
Unacceptable behavior, including insults, threats, or throwing cards or chips, will not be tolerated.
Players may not discuss hands that are still in play or give advice during ongoing hands.
“One player to a hand” – only the player involved in the hand may make decisions.
Cards may not be shown to other players or spectators during play.
Seating and chip rules
Seat selection and table placement are determined by floor staff through random seating.
Chips may not be removed from the table during an ongoing game. If a player leaves their seat with chips, they must return with the same amount.
Minimum and maximum buy-ins vary depending on the stakes and are displayed on the screens in the poker room.
Players who leave the table for more than 20 minutes may lose their seat.
Players may only change tables with prior approval from the floor staff.
Game Rules
Poker games are conducted according to TDA rules (Tournament Directors Association Rules), unless otherwise specified by poker room management.
If a player notices a dealer error – such as a misdeal, incorrect reading of a hand, or similar – it must be pointed out as soon as possible. We work together to ensure correct and fair play.
Tips: We gladly accept tips, but please note that 1% per hand is already collected and goes to the staff.
Players are responsible for protecting their own hands and clearly declaring their actions.
Straddles: There is no limit on the number of straddles. Any player at the table may choose not to straddle. All straddles must be clearly announced before the first card is dealt.
Game Rules
Bomb pots: Bomb pots are allowed when all active players at the table agree.
Rake: A 5% rake is taken with a maximum of DKK 100. In addition, 1% is collected for tronc.
Jackpot: DKK 20 is taken from each hand for the jackpot pool. The pool consists of one visible active jackpot and two underlying jackpots. 100% of the active jackpot is paid out to a player who can show a Royal Flush in Texas Hold’em. In 4-card Omaha, 33% is paid out. No jackpot contribution is taken in games that cannot qualify for a jackpot payout – for example during bomb pots or events where the jackpot is announced as inactive.
In case of disagreements at the table, the floor staff must be called.
No flop, no drop: If a hand ends before the flop is dealt, no rake, tips, or jackpot contribution (DKK 20) is taken.
Responsibility and security
The casino assumes no responsibility for lost items.
Violation of house rules may result in removal and possible exclusion.
Management reserves the right to change these rules without prior notice.
TOURNAMENT AT CASINO COPENHAGEN
TDA Rules: At Casino Copenhagen, we follow the rules set by the Tournament Directors Association (latest version).
Registration: Regular weekly tournaments are only held if at least 10 players are registered. The tournament will be canceled if fewer than 10 players sign up.
